The cheapest lever in the account

Landing Page Optimisation

Raising conversion from two per cent to three is half again the enquiries for the same budget. No bid adjustment available to you produces that.

The method

What decides whether a page converts

Four things, and the design is not among them.

  1. 01One promiseA page that offers five services answers none of them. The page must continue the sentence the ad started.
  2. 02Above the foldWhat is visible without scrolling decides whether the rest is read: the promise, the proof, and the way to act.
  3. 03Proof over adjectivesLicence numbers, real work, named clients. "Best in the region" persuades nobody and costs a line.
  4. 04One actionA page with four possible next steps has no next step. One, repeated.

What we do

What we change

01

The promise

Rewritten to match the query that brought the visitor.

02

The fold

Restructured so promise, proof and action are visible without scrolling.

03

Proof placement

Evidence positioned where hesitation occurs, not at the bottom.

04

Form length

Shortened to what you genuinely need before a first conversation.

05

WhatsApp prominence

Because in these markets it carries most enquiries.

06

Speed

Because a page that loads slowly on mobile loses the click you paid for.

07

Mobile first

Most of your traffic is there, and most pages are still designed elsewhere.

08

Measurement

So a change can be judged rather than argued about.

The difference

Sending traffic to your home page, or to a page built for it?

Half the accounts we look at point paid traffic at a home page. It is the most expensive default in the category.

Common

The home page as destination

  • A page describing the whole company to someone who asked about one thing.
  • Multiple navigation paths, so the visitor chooses anything other than converting.
  • The enquiry form below three screens of company history.
  • Conversion rate never measured, so the loss is invisible.
What we do

A page per promise

  • One page per campaign theme, answering the query that earned the click.
  • Navigation reduced so the action is the obvious next step.
  • Form and WhatsApp visible without scrolling.
  • Conversion rate measured per page, so improvement is evidence rather than opinion.

For clients without a suitable site we build the landing page ourselves at no extra charge. It stays our property — that is stated before the contract, not discovered after it.

Questions

What gets asked about landing pages

Do you build the page or just advise?

We build it when you do not have a suitable one, at no extra charge. It remains our property, which is stated in the terms before you sign.

Can I use my existing site?

Often yes, with changes. If the site cannot support a focused page, building one is faster than rebuilding the site.

How much difference does this make?

Frequently more than any bidding change available. Two per cent to three per cent is fifty per cent more enquiries on the same spend.

Do you redesign my whole site?

No. We build or change the pages paid traffic lands on. A site rebuild is a longer project with a different budget, and it is rarely what the account actually needs.

How long before I see the difference?

Conversion rate moves within weeks, because it does not depend on the auction. It is usually the fastest improvement available on any account.

What if my page already converts well?

Then we leave it alone and say so. Changing a page that works is the most expensive way to look busy.
