Definition

Who is a Google Ads specialist in Egypt?

A Google Ads specialist decides where your ad shows and to whom, what gets excluded, and what is paid in each auction. Whether you search for a “Google Ads specialist”, “PPC specialist” or “Google Ads expert”, the requirement is the same: every pound spent on clicks turned into a call or message you can count.

The Egyptian market tests a specialist differently from the Gulf: cost per click is lower in most sectors, so waste looks small per click and large by month-end. Egyptian searchers ask about price early, compare a lot, and prefer to message you on WhatsApp before filling a form.

So the specialist here isn’t the one who brings a flood of clicks — that’s easy — but the one who stops the click that won’t buy, and builds the account on real leads, not visits.

Google Ads

The area, not the governorate

New Cairo is not Giza, and Sheikh Zayed is not Nasr City — an ad group per area with its own bid, so the campaign doesn’t spend on people you can’t serve.

Coverage

Areas a Google Ads specialist targets inside Egypt

Each area is a campaign or ad group with its own bid — not a list of cities in one campaign’s settings.

  • New Cairo and the Fifth Settlement
  • Nasr City and Heliopolis
  • Maadi
  • Sheikh Zayed
  • 6th of October
  • Giza
  • New Administrative Capital
  • Alexandria
  • North Coast
  • The Delta and Upper Egypt

The method

Four decisions a Google Ads specialist makes that automation doesn’t

  • 01Intent before keyword“Price”, “cheapest”, “instalments” and “offers” are searchers at different stages. A specialist knows which of them buys this week.
  • 02Arabic and English togetherIn real estate, education and clinics, a large share search in English or a mix of both. An account that ignores that leaves half the market.
  • 03The area, not the governorateOne campaign for all of Cairo spends on people you don’t serve and pays the dearest district’s price everywhere.
  • 04What gets stoppedA keyword that spent and produced nothing is stopped by a written decision — not left because it “might work”.

A named lead, with a team behind

  • A named lead responsible for your account, and a team that knows it and continues if they are away.
  • You speak to the person working on your campaign, not a coordinator.
  • Experience from more than 500 ad accounts since 2017.
  • A written report every week, and a New Cairo office for in-person meetings.

The market

What a Google Ads specialist in Egypt knows about the Egyptian searcher

Six things no training course teaches — open any to see the detail.

“How much?” Price is the first question

Egyptian searchers type “price” and “how much” early. An ad that hides the price pays for a click that won’t continue.

The first conversion channel WhatsApp before the form

Most leads start with a message. An account that doesn’t measure the WhatsApp click is optimised on part of the picture.

EGP prices Prices move

Price changes in pounds force a review of ad copy and the landing page, so no visitor lands on an old price.

Ramadan, the coast and admissions Egyptian seasons

Ramadan and the two Eids, the North Coast summer in real estate, school and university admissions in education, and White Friday in retail.

Cairo is not all of Egypt Markets inside the market

Greater Cairo, Alexandria, the Delta and Upper Egypt are markets with different costs and behaviour, and campaigns are split across them.

Scheduling Friday is a different day

Search patterns on Fridays and holidays differ from working days, so scheduling and bids are set by day.

Evaluation

How to choose a Google Ads specialist in Egypt: six questions

01

Whose name runs my account?

The responsible person’s name, not the company’s. If no name can be given, you’re in a queue.

02

What gets measured?

Calls, WhatsApp and forms, before the first pound. Whoever starts with clicks and impressions is measuring the wrong thing.

03

How do I see the account?

A weekly written report, and the account screen in front of you on Meet or at the office. Whoever refuses is hiding something.

04

Do they guarantee a result?

Whoever guarantees a number of customers or page one is selling what they don’t own. Google and the competitors govern the auction.

05

How are they paid?

A fixed fee puts their interest in your result. A percentage of spend puts it in raising your bill.

06

And who continues if they’re away?

With a freelancer, your account stops when they do. Ask: is there a team behind them that knows your account?

Google Ads

Arabic and English in the same account

Someone searching for “New Cairo apartments” in Arabic searches in English too — a campaign per language, or half the market is lost in real estate, clinics and education.

The options

A Google Ads specialist in Egypt: freelancer, agency, or in-house hire?

Three routes for anyone looking for a PPC specialist in Egypt, each with what it costs.

What each route loses

The three options

  • A freelancer: a lower price and direct contact — but your account depends on their time and other commitments.
  • A full-service marketing company: every service in one place — but Google Ads is one item in ten.
  • An in-house hire: knows your product — but learns on your budget and sees no market but yours.

What we do

A named lead, a team behind, one specialism

  • A named lead responsible for your account, and a team that knows it and continues if they are away.
  • We work on Google only — not social media, not brand identity.
  • Experience from more than 500 ad accounts since 2017.
  • A written report every week, and an office in New Cairo.

For those who want the firm rather than the person — the contract, the retainer and what it covers: Google Ads agency in Egypt.

The report

How to tell whether a Google Ads specialist is working on your account

In the Egyptian market especially, lots of clicks mean nothing: raising the count is easy, and waste rises with it. So don’t read the report from the top.

Read three numbers: what one lead cost you, how many leads were serious, and what was added to the negatives list this week. The first is your price, the second its quality, and the third proof that someone is working.

If the negatives list hasn’t changed in two weeks, the account is running on its own. That’s what we write to you every week, and show you on screen on Google Meet or at our office.

Questions

What gets asked before hiring a Google Ads specialist in Egypt

Your question isn’t here?

Ask us on WhatsApp, or book a thirty-minute call.

WhatsApp Book a call
01Who will work on my account?

The Temeralds team, led by Muhammad Makram — a certified Google Partner agency since 2017. Your account has one named lead you speak to directly, with the team behind them.

02What is the difference between a Google Ads expert, specialist and professional?

The name differs; the work is the same: keywords, campaigns, bidding, tracking and weekly optimisation. What differs is who makes decisions in your account, whether they measure leads rather than clicks, and whether they know the Egyptian market.

03Is “Google AdWords” the same as Google Ads?

Yes. Google Ads is the platform’s current name; AdWords was its old one and is still searched. Keywords cover the Arabic and English forms your audience actually uses.

04Is your office really in Egypt?

Yes, in New Cairo. In-person meetings are possible by appointment; most of the work happens on Google Meet and WhatsApp.

05How much are the fees?

From SAR 7,500 a month or the equivalent in Egyptian pounds, rising with scope. Media spend is separate and billed by Google to your card directly.

06What is the minimum ad budget you work with?

About EGP 400,000 a month — the equivalent of SAR 30,000 at the exchange rate. Below that, an account doesn’t gather enough conversion data to settle, so you would pay fees on an account that can’t learn.

07What currency is the account in?

We have ad accounts in Egyptian pounds, so there is no FX margin on every click. Your card is linked to the account directly.

08Will you access my current account?

No — not before the contract, not after. We build campaigns on our own ad accounts and show you the screen whenever you ask.

09When does the campaign launch?

Within 4 to 7 working days of receiving the first payment and complete details, after call, WhatsApp and form tracking is set.

10Do you guarantee a number of customers?

No. We commit to the method and the report, not a number: measurement before spend, weekly work, and a report that explains where every pound went.
